Accessibility Statement

Last updated

We aim for every calculator to be usable by everyone, conforming to WCAG 2.2 level AA.

What we've done

  • All inputs have visible labels with units; errors are announced and shown next to the field.
  • Results update in a polite live region so screen readers announce new totals.
  • Everything works with a keyboard; focus is always visible; touch targets are at least 44 × 44 px.
  • Diagrams have text alternatives; colour is never the only way information is shown.
  • Light and dark themes are contrast-checked; animations respect “reduce motion”.
  • Pages reflow to 320 px wide without horizontal scrolling; tables become cards on small screens.

Known limitations

We have run automated checks (Lighthouse/axe). Manual testing with VoiceOver and NVDA is scheduled before public launch.
